Current Positions:

Bookkeeper

We are seeking a professionally presented and well-spoken Bookkeeper to join our team.

This is a part-time position.

Essential Skills and Experience required:

• Minimum 1 years bookkeeping experience

• Experience in use of Xero and MYOB

• Bookkeeping/Data entry

• General ledger

• Financial reporting

• BAS

• Payroll/ Superannuation

• Bank account reconciliation

• Have outstanding organisational skills

• Be a team player

Previous experience working in a Public Practice Accounting Firm is preferable.

This is NOT a working from home position.

Chinese/Mandarin speaking is an advantage, but not essential.

OUR STORY

Hunter Accounting services was originally Bremmell Accountants setup by the Bremmell family.

Gary Bremmell worked within the company for his whole working life, Ken Adams joined the company and later became a partner of the firm, later taking over when the last Bremmell being Gary retired.

In 2001 Marco Li joined the firm and worked with Ken Adams for a decade up until 2011, this is when Ken retired and Marco took control of the company. The company name was later changed to reflect the geographical area that they serviced being the Hunter region.

The company has been positioned in Mayfield, Newcastle since it began offering expertise in accounting and business services, with Marco and his team looking to continue this well into the future to support the local community with these services.
